Weave 1.0.0: Teams, Google Drive, and Other Updates

Weave 1.0.0 introduces Teams: collaborative workspaces where organizations can share a subscription, pool AI credits, and manage members, all backed by Stripe billing. Google Drive is now fully integrated across every app surface for one-click import and export of files, skills, creations, and knowledge. A tiered pricing structure supports Standard, Non-Profit, and Business plans, onboarding no longer downloads the full chat model on low-RAM devices, and several backend fixes address subscription webhook crashes and the code signing pipeline.

Weave 1.0.0 Release Notes

New Features

Teams

Create an organization, invite your team, and share a single Weave subscription. Every seat gets a monthly credit allowance that pools into a shared balance the whole team draws from. Roles (Owner, Admin, and Member) control who can invite or remove people, manage billing, and administer the team. Owners and Admins get a full management dashboard with member invitations, role editing, ownership transfer, and a team sustainability dashboard. Members see their team info and can leave at any time. Billing is handled through Stripe with per-seat pricing and a self-service portal for subscription management and credit purchases.

Google Drive Integration

Import files from and export files to Google Drive across the entire app: chat attachments, skills, images, transcriptions, documents, creations, and the knowledge base. A unified Cloud Storage button appears wherever you can save or load content. Authentication uses concurrency-safe, user-scoped tokens with a 50 MB file size limit.

Tiered Pricing

Subscription plans now come in Standard, Non-Profit, and Business tiers, visible in the Teams admin panel.

Improvements

Low-RAM device safeguards. On devices with 8 GB of RAM, onboarding no longer silently downloads the full on-device chat model. Only the lightweight embedding model is downloaded unless you explicitly opt in.

Tour updates. The onboarding tour has updated language and a new step introducing the Tools popover.

Updater window. The update dialog is now draggable and has a cleaner layout.

Current date in AI context. The AI now receives the current date and time with every message, so it can answer time-sensitive questions accurately.
